Built for the infamous Earl Patrick Stewart at the beginning of the 17^th Century, the Earl's Palace was one of the finest Private residences of it's time in Scotland. It is in the care of Historic Scotland. Here it is seen in a 19^th century reconstruction by McGibbon & Ross.
